This is where I will entertain that obsession.

Normally, the people that I am about to tell you who voted to censor and revoke your constitutional rights have the protection of most of the voting public not knowing exactly what goes on in the congressional chambers.

That changes now!

Over the last hour, I have been researching and investigating who lent their support to this lame and utterly unconstitutional excuse for a bill. The results are astounding!

From this moment on, I want these men and women who we elected to serve us to feel the pain of knowing what they have done. I want the world and the whole country to know what traitors we have in Washington, DC.

So, without further adieu, here’s the supporters of the bill that essentially made America a police state, like that of Hitler’s Germany. These are by state, with links to the legislator’s info. If a state is not mentioned, that state’s representatives did not support the bill, or abstained a vote yesterday in the US House. They are all in the order of their districts in each state.

Who Supported the Bill?

In all, 283 Representatives supported the bill. There were 93 Democrats and 190 Republicans who supported the bill. Here they are:

Alabama: All 7 Representatives supported the bill

Conaway, K. [R]

This is terrible. I take only minimal comfort knowing my representative, Barney Frank, didn’t vote for this (because he’s forever awesome).

Of course Ben fucking Quayle voted for it.

I would like to send a nice big fuck you to everyone who voted for this. I’ll be writing some strongly worded letters now.

And President Obama made sure modifications to the bill as passed by the Senate - bill S1867 and HR1540 - were made so that he would not veto the bill. They need those Anti-Terrorist War Dollars being allocated.

The following is from HR1540 – you can download a PDF of the full bill

The bill would specifically authorize appropriations for 2012 totaling $690 billion, or $15 billion less than the $705 billion appropriated for 2011. Of that amount, $571 billion would be for authorizations of regular appropriations–for `base budget’ costs not directly related to overseas contingency operations–as follows: $553 billion for DoD and $18 billion for DOE and other programs (see Table 2).

Compared to the 2011 level of appropriations enacted for DoD’s base budget, the $553 billion that would be authorized for 2012 represents an increase of $24 billion (5 percent). The categories of DoD funding that would receive increases are procurement at $12 billion (11 percent), operation and maintenance at $9 billion (5 percent), military personnel at $4 billion (3 percent), and research and development at $1 billion (1 percent). Authorizations for military construction and family housing would be $2 billion (11 percent) less than the current-year appropriations for those activities.

For DOE and other programs, the $18 billion that would be authorized for 2012 represents a $2 billion (9 percent) increase over the level appropriated for 2011.

Do we congratulate them on allocating less money overall, but increasing the amount available to spend on building the war machine to police our country? Perhaps we need to remind them that worldwide military spending is about $1 trillion annually and the US Armed Forces are $553 billion of that amount - yes over half of the entire world’s military force is ours. 4.3% of gross domestic product is spent on military, only Saudi Arabia is higher.

Believers, listen to me carefully when I say this: When you use this argument, you terrify atheists. We hear you saying that the only thing standing between you and Ted Bundy is a flimsy belief in a supernatural being made up by pre-literate people trying to figure out where the rain came from.

At a town hall meeting in Gurnee this weekend, Rep. Joe Walsh, Tea Party-Ill., made it clear where the line between real Americanism and anti-American lies. It lies with Walsh. Anyone who agrees with Walsh is a real American. Anyone to Walsh’s left is a socialist trying to undermine this country’s core values.

“This whole Occupy Wall Street…stuff…is a well-orchestrated, well-funded far left effort to disrupt the American people and rile up Obama’s left base.”

“I think these are generally spoiled, pampered, unfocused clueless young people and a smattering of other people who don’t understand this country and are advocating anti-American solutions. They don’t at all represent America.”

“What about the veterans who take part in Occupy Wall Street?” a woman asked. “Do you consider them anti-American?”

“I don’t know how many veterans are part of the Occupy protest,” said Walsh, who has never served in the military. “I can’t imagine it’s many, but anyone who would advocate socialist solutions to certain problems in this country, they don’t understand this country.”

Tell us how you really feel, Joe! I’d love to know how OWS can be simultaneously well-orchestrated and well-funded yet unfocused and clueless.

Today, November 17, also now known as #n17 here in New York, is the day of absolute chaos and destruction that Occupy Wall Street has planned in retaliation to Mayor Bloomberg’s eviction of Zuccotti Park, the home of the protest movement.
